Spanning magnificent valleys and wine country panoramas, this epicurean circuit connects about twenty vineyards inviting you to not only taste unique terroir products but also meet passionate winemakers who’ll gladly share their stories. The wine route also links several local businesses, charming boutiques and restaurants, as well as friendly bistros. Did you know that the first temperance movement in the country began in Brome-Missisquoi? Throughout this 130-km, self-guided circuit, you’ll hear true stories and anecdotes, each more surprising than the other, through the voice of a fictional smuggler, Alfred Carpentier, as you travel to the towns of Cowansville, Brome Lake, Sutton, Abercorn, Frelighsburg, St-Armand and Dunham. This very unique route will have you discover the amazing Brome-Missisquoi landscapes as you learn about the region’s rich built heritage from a whole new perspective.
