Québec
Located in the heart of the Plains of Abraham, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) is a meeting place for architecture, art, gastronomy and nature, especially during the summer season. Be sure to stop by during your stay in Québec City! The Pierre Lassonde Pavilion houses both international exhibitions and the best of Quebec art, and its elevated terrace offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. Another terrace, the Café Québecor by Laurent Godbout, will allow you to conclude your visit with a delicious happy hour!
This summer, fashion and art collide at MNBAQ. Alexander McQueen: Art Meets Fashion proposes a reflection on the creative process of the enfant terrible of British fashion. Through the exhibition, a connection is made between apparel designed by McQueen – who drew inspiration from history, natural science, technology and pop culture – and works of art from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and MNBAQ collections.
