Every year, from Tuesday to Sunday of the third week of July, the Fête du Lac des Nations takes place at Jacques-Cartier Park in Sherbrooke! Will you be part of the celebration this year? Since 1981, this event has been anchored in the hearts of the Sherbrooke population. On the agenda: a diverse musical program on several stages, a multitude of family activities, a selection of local food concessions and a series of pyromusical shows, not to mention the many surprises that await festival-goers!
In 2023, the summer will be festive in the Sorel-Tracy region! Feel the rhythm of the Régates internationales de Sorel-Tracy at the Catherine-Legardeur wharf. Taste local products at the Bières vins & terroir event in Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel. Take advantage of the Gib Fest to celebrate downtown with great music shows. Freshly renovated, the downtown area is coming alive this summer! Sherblues & Folk is an urban music festival that takes place in downtown Sherbrooke in various locations. More than 50 shows presented on indoor and outdoor stages in a festive atmosphere by renowned artists who make the Centro vibrate to the sound of blues and folk. Vance Joy, Portugal.The Man, The Franklin Electric, The Australian Pink Floyd Show, Robert Charlebois and Lisa Leblanc are part of the program this year.

This summer, a wave of new activities is sweeping through La Cité de l’Énergie, much to the delight of visitors of all ages. Don’t miss the temporary photo exhibit on climate change and the new collection dedicated to First Lady Aline Chrétien in The Prime Minister Jean Chrétien Museum. The whole family will also enjoy the magical staging and dynamic choreographies of the Le livre magique musical show, a foray into the fantastic tales from our childhood.
