Soak up the sun at Camping Plage Pohénégamook

With nearly one kilometre of fine sand, Pohénégamook Beach is not only the most beautiful freshwater beach in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, but it’s also listed among the top 10 best beaches in Quebec. Canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals are offered, and you can enjoy the province’s largest inflatable playground on the water. You can even camp there!

Have fun at Zoo de Granby

The Zoo de Granby is a major tourist attraction and zoological garden in Quebec, with trails allowing visitors to observe over 1,225 animals from about 225 exotic species, among which are elephants, giraffes, gorillas and tigers. Various paths will transport the whole family to the faraway continents of Africa, South America, Asia and Oceania. Guests can attend 20 presentations or so by zookeepers and educators. And make sure to bring your bathing suit! At the Amazoo water park, the whole family will enjoy a refreshing and extraordinary experience in a setting inspired by an Amazon village. Palm trees, waves, beach... There’s nothing like it!

For a perfect family day, the mont Saint-Grégoire is full of fun activities. For the little ones, Uplå by Arbraska is ideal to burn their energy! It’s a trampoline path between trees that is kid-approved! If you are in for an adventure, there is also Arbraska with their ziplines! Next door, CIME Haut-Richelieu awaits hikers of all levels. The view on top is incredible: you’ll see Montreal and its surroundings. If you are an animal lover, you’ll get to meet alpacas at La Casa d’Alpagas and L’Arche de Zoé.
